A Wealthy Mind to A Wealthy Pocket

I stumbled upon a quote by businessman and motivational speaker Robert Kiyosaki of the Rich Dad, Poor Dad fame that says, “The single most powerful asset we have is our mind. If trained well, it can create enormous wealth.

Wealth Starts in the Mind

I could not agree more. After all, it is true that the way to becoming rich is to think like the rich. You may not realize it, but attaining wealth is in fact a state of mind. It is a conscious act that must be chosen. It does not manifest on its own and it is actually created by the human mind.

For the most part, we often equate wealth with monetary success. However, that is not the only benchmark for attaining wealth, it manifests in various forms, like love, friends, knowledge and wisdom, among so many others. No matter what your personal definition of what wealth is, it should hold a degree of importance and relevance to you. Because no matter how hard you push to achieve it and if it has no value to you, your quest will prove to be futile and will be meaningless. Begin by identifying which aspect in your life will make you wealthy, in your own sense and belief.

Also, it is important that you condition your mind to attract wealth and that you can actually become wealthy. This helps train your mind to achieve your objective. The good thing with Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is that it helps you to set conditions that program your mind with positive beliefs to anchor your truth that you can actually achieve your wealth. Also, finding the right model for you to emulate their actions, behavior and thought patterns makes it easier for you to achieve your own success and prosperity.

Create a mindset that will cultivate inspiration for you to dream, seek and achieve wealth success. Life-changing speaker and bestselling author, Dr. Steve Maraboli, once said that, “Once you change your mindset, everything on the outside will change along with it.” Because eventually, whatever you think and feel will ultimately become a reality.

Limiting Wealth Beliefs

For some, achieving their wealth success is easy to come by. But for some, it is a struggle and a constant fight to get up and climb the ladder of success over and over again. It is certainly frustrating and to some extent disappointing. It is not because you are not destined to achieve your wealth, but it is the limiting belief such as this one that thwarts you off track.

In terms of monetary success, it is ingrained upon us that money and possessions should never precede the abundance in love and care that you get from family and the value of friendship, or the wisdom that you get from life experiences. Once again, this thought pattern restricts you from owning the value of money and possession in your definition of success and that it is important for you. But it is important to remember that thinking of wealth in terms of financial success is not necessarily a bad thing.

There is a long list of limiting beliefs that affects the realization of success in terms of money. There is the ever-popular belief that “Money is the root of all evil.” Some are even taught that money is something to be guilty about.

But it is not just these lessons that can affect in achieving monetary success. Life experiences that have left a mark in how you view money as wealth plays an integral role and gets in the way of your success. It could be because of the fact of your parent’s struggles in achieving wealth that makes you think that wealth will never be for you. This can result to a negative thinking that to achieve money; you really need to work extensively hard, which in reality is not exactly the case all the time.

And these limiting life lessons and experiences are not restricted to wealth in terms of material possessions. It can transcend in relationships, self-development, career and knowledge.

In essence, you need to bump off these negative thought patterns that have been hindering you from achieving your road to wealth. Shatter the thought that old dogs cannot be trained with new tricks, because NLP challenges this. You are, after all, never too old to learn new things.

Wealth and Self-Worth

It is important to realize that wealth is not about simply finally achieving it, it is what you do with it that will give it its eventual worth in your life. Monetary success is not all about abundance and splurging every penny on luxurious possessions. It comes with it the development of attitudes to move a step further up your ladder of wealth success.

It is even essential that you make it a point that you do not get too attached over your wealth that you have achieved. It must never be equated with your self-worth. Because when unforeseen circumstances may happen and the wealth you have achieved will slip through your hands, you do not fall in the snare of losing your being and essence.

Road to Wealth

It is also important to remember that the road to wealth success is not just about reaching from point A to point B. There are pit stops along the way that mark where you are in your wealth pyramid. It is even worthwhile to know where you actually are in your path to wealth success.

In our NLP Practitioner’s Training Certificate, we incorporate Roger Hamilton’s Wealth Spectrum Test to help you identify in which level in the color spectrum you are currently in your path to success. It provides you with the guide on how to move up the next color spectrum. Also, we include the Wealth Dynamics Profiling Test to know your personality type in creating your wealth of least resistance.
